AmeriCare Ambulance Has Provided Service For the Residents of Hillsborough County Since 1996.

Along with our mission to provide the highest level of patient care through higher standards of professionalism and performance, AmeriCare provides the most appropriate mode of transportation with convenient scheduling and competitive rates.

Our Story

Over the last 27 years, AmeriCare's local owners took their small business from a single lot on N. Florida Avenue in Tampa, Florida, to a sprawling five acre Headquarters in Eastern Hillsborough County.

AmeriCare began its Basic Life Support (BLS) service and since its inception has opened up additional divisions, Advance Life Support (ALS) and Critical Care Transportation Services. These additions allowed AmeriCare Ambulance Services to grow with the needs of the residents of Hillsborough County.


With the expansion of these divisions, AmeriCare now employs over 220 team members and has expanded our fleet to 40 units.

Founded in 1996, AmeriCare Ambulance is an Ambulance transportation provider committed to delivering solutions to the Hillsborough community and health care systems. A family owned and operated company by the Mason's and Carr's.

Our Fleet

At Your Service

7 Advance Life Support Ambulances – Equipped with Intensive Care ZOLL EMV+ Ventilators, Sapphire Infusion Pumps, ZOLL X Series Monitors and Stryker’s state of the art    
"Load Systems”. Some units can also accommodate Neonatal and Bariatric transports.


33 Basic Life Support Ambulances – With all the required (BLS) equipment, these units are also set up with Stryker’s Power Stretcher and Morrison Soft Stretcher’s that aid in the smooth transportation from origin to destination.
